A renovation project for a young couple inheriting an old house 100 sqm with two bedrooms and a living room. Changing all systems windows and paint, floor etc. The guide was to maintain a modern countryside atmosphere with a minimum budget. I designed each space to have a dominant color. I chose to have the kitchen floor cross over to the dining area to combine the two as one whole space. I specifically lowered the ceiling height in order to have many light fixtures to set different modes and feel to the rooms. An important feature in the plan was to keep exemption options for future add-on construction.
